The Yarn Harlot

A friend of mine and I went to St. Louis yesterday (about a 3 hr drive) to see The Yarn Harlot. It was a book signing and as we both have her e-books on our readers (she has a kindle, I have a nook) We had her sign the e-readers!  We were the first people to bring and e-reader to sign!  I had her just sign the back of my nook.  Now I think I will go to more book signings and continue the habit.

Here is the joke she told.  I wanted to remember it!

A policeman was patrolling the highway and saw a minivan driving somewhat erratically so he flashed his lights. The van didn't pull over so he drove up beside it and motioned to the driver for her to pull over. He was shocked when saw what the problem was, she was knitting. He motioned again so she rolled down the window. He rolled down his window and yelled "pull over." She yelled back, "no, cardigan!"
